Hi everyone!
I’d like to thank you all for being so patient while I got everything set up over at the new site. There are still a few things I want to add over there, little changes to make, etc. However, beyond that I’m pretty much ready to go at the moment!
So on that note, I’d like to invite everyone over to JoliePittWatch! PittWatch was a good name but since it’s about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, not to mention all the Jolie-Pitt kids, I think the new name is even better.
I’m still unhappy that my old site was shut down with no warning and that I didn’t have much time to tell anyone what was going on but I’m eager to see how things go with a brand new site all of my own. I’ve already got a few posts up, so feel free to go comment on them!
In the meantime, you can help to promote it in a number of ways:
1. If you’re on Twitter, tweet the new url over there (and be sure you’re following me too!). If you were following me in the past under the pittwatch Twitter name, be sure to note I’ve changed it to joliepittwatch, so use that if you need to message me!
2. Spread the word to your friends by email or on Facebook (I’ll be setting up a Facebook page this week as well).
3. Get word out around the Internet. A lot of people found me because you guys were all so great about sharing my new location on other fan sites like JJ and JJB, among others. Please do the same for JoliePittWatch and the new url.
I can’t wait to see everyone over at JoliePittWatch!

The closing was so sudden. I always thought in every job/project there is always an advance notice or something. It makes me wonder. I know this is purely speculation but I think there is some play on this matter. (LOL) My theory is that – there was a conspiracy….just thinking.
Sherry, I am so happy you are back up and running. You should feel so proud that so many of us panic when we did no what was going on. You must realize that we will all follow you. Love the new name and I am glad you are back.

I’m so glad you’re not completely gone! I hate that they not only shut down your website, but now when you try to go to pittwatch.com, it gets redirected to a really stupid gossip site that’s super snarky about Brangelina. It’s like a complete polar opposite from your site. Anyway, thank goodness all is well with you , and I look forward to more wonderful Brangelina news and content from you at your new site!

Great news that you are up and running again! I felt awful when I saw that the blog had disappeared. The name change is great too – it is indeed the whole family that I love to keep up with thanks.
I started freaking out when the site kept forwarding to Crushable. So horrid they did not even give you any notice!

great news Sherry, but don’t rush- to the detriment of your health or the needs of your family! We will be waiting for the privilege for as long as it takes. I love the new name- of course it’s now about ALL the family! I agree with itsme above that there’s something very odd about pulling the plug on ‘our’ previous site overnight . . . . . . some sort of uncanny reasoning. The sort-of ‘following’ you have is maybe very threatening/too competetive to someone/others? :-E
