The new site is ready to go!

22 02 2010

Hi everyone!

I’d like to thank you all for being so patient while I got everything set up over at the new site. There are still a few things I want to add over there, little changes to make, etc. However, beyond that I’m pretty much ready to go at the moment!

So on that note, I’d like to invite everyone over to JoliePittWatch! PittWatch was a good name but since it’s about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, not to mention all the Jolie-Pitt kids, I think the new name is even better.

I’m still unhappy that my old site was shut down with no warning and that I didn’t have much time to tell anyone what was going on but I’m eager to see how things go with a brand new site all of my own. I’ve already got a few posts up, so feel free to go comment on them!

In the meantime, you can help to promote it in a number of ways:

1. If you’re on Twitter, tweet the new url over there (and be sure you’re following me too!). If you were following me in the past under the pittwatch Twitter name, be sure to note I’ve changed it to joliepittwatch, so use that if you need to message me!

2. Spread the word to your friends by email or on Facebook (I’ll be setting up a Facebook page this week as well).

3. Get word out around the Internet. A lot of people found me because you guys were all so great about sharing my new location on other fan sites like JJ and JJB, among others. Please do the same for JoliePittWatch and the new url.

I can’t wait to see everyone over at JoliePittWatch!

Vivienne and Knox Jolie-Pitt take on Italy

18 02 2010

We haven’t seen the Jolie-Pitt twins as often as the older kids, but luckily we got some great glimpses of them in Italy!

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were seen carrying Knox and Vivienne and Zahara was walking alongside them as they boarded one of the many water taxis in Venice. Vivienne’s pom pom hat is adorable, Knox looks like he’s got Brad’s style going on with his knit cap, and Zahara’s pigtails and shoes are so cute.

I’m going to be spending the next day or two setting up the new site and will let you know when it’s up. In the meantime, if I miss anything because of taking care of that side of things, please feel free to share links in the comments.

Thank you all for your support!

Coverage of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in Venice

18 02 2010

Naturally the Jolie-Pitt family make big news when they travel, especially when it’s all of them! With Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in Venice, Italy with all of their kids, entertainment shows are all over the story.

This video clip shows coverage from more than one entertainment show, featuring a lot of nice photos of Brad and Angelina taking Maddox, Pax, Zahara, and Shiloh out for gelatto.

I’m still just about dying over Shiloh Jolie-Pitt’s adorable monkey hat complete with ears. That’s beyond awesome!

Regarding site news: You may have noticed that PittWatch now completely re-directs to another site. The whole thing is pretty much gone, unfortunately. I am working on regaining my written content since I am entitled to it and will put it up on the new domain by the end of the weekend.

Speaking of which, I am eternally grateful to several readers who have very generously donated funds to help get me back on my feet again now that I’m starting from scratch. I appreciate it so much. For those who have asked how they can do the same, my paypal address is and you can also reach me at that address if you have any questions or just want to chat.

I’m taking it easy right now – I worked on that site for three years, often working 6-7 days a week and I even worked on it while I was on vacation out East for three weeks this summer. I’m working behind the scenes to get the new domain set up (I can’t wait to share it with you!) but will continue to just relax a bit as far as posting goes. Don’t worry though, I’ll catch up on the new site!

Thank you all for your patience, kind words, and overwhelming desire to help. I admit that I cried when I lost my site, but I have cried so much more – the GOOD kind of crying – because of all of you. I have, without a doubt, the absolute best readers in the world and you all mean so much to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Stay tuned!

Still looking for a new home

17 02 2010

Hey everyone. Thanks so much for following me over here. I won’t be able to stay at this site for long, I just wanted to grab something quickly before disappears completely so that we can stay in touch.

I’m currently researching options for a new home. Unfortunately after having lost my jobs when b5 shut down our entertainment blogs, my budget is very tight so I’m not sure where I will end up. I won’t be here for long though, but at least I’ll be able to point you to a more permanent home soon.

Thanks for the support everyone!

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie with the kids in Italy

17 02 2010

After all the madness in the U.S. hopefully Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will be able to relax more with their kids now that they’ve arrived – early – in Italy.

Although Angelina is due to start filming in mid-March, the whole family flew out to Italy early, presumably to settle in and get some fun time in before work kicks in again!

I love that they all look so relaxed and happy. Even Brad looks laid back whereas lately he’s more annoyed with obvious photography when he’s out with the kids. And Zahara! Zahara looks very peaceful so the cameras must have kept their distance. That makes me smile.

Check out the gallery below for more photos of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in Italy with the kids.

Welcome to the new PittWatch!

16 02 2010

Hi everyone. Sorry for the lack of advance notice but I didn’t know until today that this would be happening. will no longer be updated by me. All the entertainment blogs at the network are coming to a halt and I only found out this morning, otherwise I would have alerted readers sooner.

I intend to update over here so please spread the word. If you communicate with other PittWatch readers on other sites (such as JJB, JJ, etc) please pass on the message that I’m over here now.

I hope you’ll all stick with me through these crazy changes.
